Save Our Streets-Boston (SOS) seeks to provide a quality and exciting Table Tennis Program for both Boys’ and Girls’ during the 2015-16 school year. SOS has worked closely with American Youth Table Tennis Organization  (AYTTO) and BCYF to organize a successful Boston Youth Table Tennis Program (BYTTP) which will provide a low to no cost after school program for the kids of Boston thanks to the help of The Stifler Foundation and other donors.
The goal of our program is:
• Operate at minimal cost by
1. Developing programs in different regions of Boston, at one BCYF community center per region
2. Neighboring BCYF community centers will have opportunity to participate by sending their kids to regional location
3. Being self officiated (except for the final matches)
4. Offering equipment, including three tables per participating BCYF community center
• Offer professional development for BCYF community center staff and volunteers as needed to attend free table tennis coaching seminar

• Create a pathway to collegiate table tennis for interested Student-Athletes via the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA)

• Inspire and cultivate a healthy approach to sports while promoting social interaction

• Have a culminating table tennis program run and organized by SOS at designated BCYF community centers

• Secure a table tennis vendor relationship that will offer steeply discounted equipment for each participating BCYF community center
